Welcome to the new Plone commenting system.
plone.app.discussion aims to be the new commenting system for Plone. It was initially developed as part of the Google Summer of Code 2009 by Timo Stollenwerk and Martin Aspeli.
You can install plone.app.discussion by following the instructions on the product page. You can try the new commenting system by either posting a comment here as anonymous user or you can register yourself first and then add a comment.

collective.akismet
This Plone instance currently uses collective.akismet for spam protection. Try adding a comment with "pjsk uelzkgxpv stahlzxu gkadnwm qhrc mhrouy nhgrouw" as text and you will see the comment will be rejected by the Akismet web service.
